| Anja Middelveld, LAc, NTP - Anja Middelveld, Licensed Acupuncturist, Nutritional Therapist, founder of Healing Path Holistic Medicine Clinic.
In 1989 I was diagnosed with cancer. This life threatening illness unleashed my desire to help others. As cancer inspired me to deepen my knowledge of natural healing, also being pregnant with my daughter Isabella stimulated me to take it to the next level with nutritional therapy. Today I am a healthy mom, and have been a practitioner of natural health for over 15 years. In 2002 I earned a Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. In 2004 I founded Healing Path Holistic Medicine Clinic in Milwaukie, where I offer acupuncture, nutritional, massage therapy, and Qigong classes.
My specialty is in reducing pain, fatigue, digestive issues, allergies, and women’s health problems . Acupuncture and simple nutritional adjustments can help reduce pain levels dramatically, especially if the patient gets involved with taking charge of their own health. Couples, who are trying to conceive, maintain a healthy pregnancy, or other reproductive health issues will be evaluated with a thorough nutritional assessment, a functional examination and acupuncture treatment. Patients often are sent home with educational tips and a plan to achieve their goals.
Contact Healing Path Holistic Medicine Clinic at www.healingpathclinic.com or info@healingpathclinic.com, 503-513-4665, also on Facebook.

| | Brenda Ruble, NTP - Brenda Ruble is a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner who has been a facilitator of health and healing for the past twenty years.
Her work began from the ground up, researching and studying soil improvement, animal husbandry, sustainable farming and gardening, and holistic medical practices; and has evolved into an exploration of the body-mind-world connection.
Brenda is inspiring others to take control of their lives, educating them to think in new ways about symptoms and disease. She teaches that illness is the body's powerful method of communication that something within or around us is out of balance. When we master this "language of the body" we can actually increase our potential for healing.
Brenda is an advocate of the Weston A. Price Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the restoration of traditionally prepared, mineral-rich foods to the American diet through education, research and activism. She works closely with farmers, university research groups and consumers to continue developing chemical-free grass-fed pastured livestock, wild-caught ocean fish and other nutrient-dense whole foods while educating along the way.
Brenda Ruble is a voice of passion & possibility, inspiring others to restore health from within. Visit her websites at www.brendaruble.com and www.thymelycuisine.com or write her at info@ThymelyCuisine.com.

| | Cherie Anello, NTP - I have worked as a teacher, in commission sales, owned my own businesses and helped my husband pastor churches. My own health issues created an interest in nutrition that I pursued for years. But, the NTA training gave me a solid understanding of what I already knew. Nutrition is the answer to America's health crisis.
As a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner I am combining my love of teaching and desire to help people with my enthusiasm for nutrition. I love seeing light bulbs go off for people when they understand what to eat and why, and actually connect that to how they feel. And then, when I test them to see what specific whole food supplements help them with that nagging "problem", we both see real improvement.
I work with people by appointment, one on one, to help make lasting changes in their health. I am also available for (and love to do) group presentations. Additional Training: Nutritional Response Testing, BA-English/Journalism, Washington State teaching certificate 4th - 12th grades.
For more information or to make an appointment email cherieanellontp@hotmail.com or call 253-468-6472. Hours are by appointment: 85780 Loop Lane, Eugene, OR 97405.

| Nourishing Our Children -
Nourishing Our Children is a non-profit campaign of the Weston A. Price Foundation established to address the dramatic deterioration in the health of our children. What separates our campaign from other groups focused on nutrition?
Nourishing Our Children is not just about identifying the dangers of Oreos, cola, candy and other obvious junk foods. The campaign also presents research illustrating how foods widely assumed to be nutritional – including packaged foods commonly described as "organic", "natural" or "fortified" – are themselves heavily processed and stripped of nutritional value. Although these labels provide a convenient way for parents to determine which foods to buy, the items associated with those labels often betray the standard of optimal nutrition.
Our campaign offers a dynamic presentation to parents groups that explains why many traditional foods now considered unhealthy are, in fact, vital to the growth and intellectual development of our children. The presentation is given free of charge, and/or may be obtained as part of our educational materials.
| | Nutritional Therapist Training Program - The Nutritional Therapist Training Program is grounded in the belief that health is based on a foundational approach to nutrition. Drawing from the early nutritional pioneers; Weston A. Price, DDS and Francis Pottenger, Jr., MD and based on a whole food approach to nutrition, NTA has created a program that enables students to learn the role of diets and nutrition in health and wellness, to assess individual nutritional status and offer dietary counseling, address and correct nutritional deficiencies, balance body chemistry, participate in natural wellness and work side-by-side with healthcare professionals. This course is available to professionals looking to enhance their practice with nutrition or for anyone ready to embark on a new career as a nutritional therapist.
NTA's philosophy is that the myriad of health problems that plague modern society result from weaknesses in the body's physiological foundations as a result of poor nutrition. As an education organization, NTA is dedicated to helping healthcare professionals understand and reverse the tragic and unsuspected effects of the modern diet for their patients and clients. Throughout our training programs and seminars, students access a wide range of education tools and connect nationally with other practitioners in the healing arts.
