Nut Crackers

This is my nut cracker recipe that I like to make up and snack on.  Its especially good with dips or spreads.

  • 1 medium sweet onion
  • 2 cups raw sesame seed
  • 2/3 cups of flax seed
  • 1/8 cup of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of keltic salt
  • 1/2 c of molasses

Mince onion.  Grind sesame seed and flax in a coffee grinder. Stir all ingredients together in a large bowl until they are well mixed.  On a cookie sheet, spread thinly on parchment paper and dry over night in the oven on low (170 degrees) flip and continue drying till crisp. You can  also use a food dehydrator that has fruit roll trays.  Remember to flip after 8 hours to thoroughly dry the cracker.
